That was bleeping sublime. Sorry I missed Malcolm, he was playing as I approached. Had to feed baby daughter. Anyhow, as we say up the road. Incredible. Not set foot out the evening door for 6 months and that was so worth it.
Not sure if any of you lot follow the Manics, but Bradfield was there, trying his best to dance and nod his head in a field of STIFFS. My big sister and I did our best for Edwyn and red wine sales. Aged 49 and 45 respectively. James Dean Bradfield a true fan, and a completely without ego genuine person. Edwyn's set walked. And thank you for bird tee.

Someone on here will have it. It was all cracking stuff, every last note. Personal favourite was Falling And Laughing, but you probably heard that as it was the opener.
What I was trying to say in earlier midnight ramblings post was that no one was really dancing, but they were probably not as 'disinhibited' as my sibling and I.
Crawls back to pit to fight hangover. Consequence, not punishment as Steinbeck rightly pointed out. Well worth it.

Hi what an amazing set, i've seen edwyn quite a few times, but the bloomsbury was possibly the best. a fantastic set list and the band were superb.
Question: who were the band members and who have the played with / do they play with.

I was about 3 rows from front and dancing with all the gusto and co-ordination I had . Which ain't a lot.

Personal highlights were wheels of love - guitarist Little Barrie ripped it, blue boy ( my fav OJ song ),
you'll never know and my second fav OJ song - consolation prize. Seen Edwyn approx 20 times and can't remember him playing it ever before but that might be my memory.
He got a great reception but have to agree most of crowd fairly static. typical London.
In answer to who was keyboardist - Shaun Reid, only remeber that cos Edwyn, bless him, forgot his sir name when introducing the band and someone in crowd helped out.
Overall a fantastic night out , thanks Edwyn, every show I've ever seen has been a joy and a different experience. Long may they continue. Bloody knackered when I got home to deepest Surrey but totally worth it.

Not sure about all of them but I remember Andy Hackett (guitar, with the long hair!) and Shaun Reid (keyboards) from a band called the Rockingbirds, Carwyn Ellis (bass) is with Colorama and Barry Cadogan plays with Primal Scream and I think he's also played with Paul Weller. I'm sure someone else will be more knowedgeable than me though!

Still buzzing. What a treat. A cracking set with many of my favourites. Shed a tear or two I have to admit - lot's of love and affection around. Crowd surprisingly static from where I was, but myself and wifey were giving it large (so to speak). Agreed that Colorama were excellent, kicking myself for not getting their CD from Will at the gig - so have ordered from redbrick. Will was on T-shirt duty and was having great "fun" trying to find the right sizes for the punters and commented that his mum was going to be mad at him for jumbling them all up and making a right old mess! Top night.
