I'll do a fuller announcement when I have the actual date, but the idea at the moment is to release the box set around the same time as Edwyn's new, yes, brand new record which is advanced in progress right now and is due for a September 13 release.

Fantastic news, I can't wait for both of these now! Realy looking forward to seeing a tracklist for the box set. Will there be tour dates to coinicde? Birmingham is very nice around that time of the year! Thanks for the update, Grace.

I too, will be looking forward to both releases. I would be interested in the track listing for the box set, are all Polydor singles included? I would be very happy Boy if that came about.

We have tracked down everything and I think the idea is to put all the albums on in full with lots of extras that we've found in the vaults, all done up in a very pretty package!

Great to hear it and can't wait as the reissue programme is long awaited. Any chance of a DVD of promos/tv appearances/concert performance being included?

Last Sunday we played a ridiculous amount of Scottish music for people who live on the other side of the globe. The Arab Strap box set had arrived. Then the OJ EP poured out at top volume. We even made some old Simple Minds vinyl from before they got famous. Throw in some God Help The Girl and a James Yorkston or two and we were in serious danger of forgetting our own accents. An EC boxed set could see us disappear for good out the back of Sunday afternoon, never to be seen again...
