Hi. I'm Jack Dawkins.

I'm studying at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication. I have been looking into the world of Edwyn Collins for my current project which seems to be fascinating. An artist who changed the way alternative indie/ rock music was played and listened to. Suffered from two brain hemorrhages and survived. Reading up on Edwyn Collins' life has been truly inspiring and rather emotional to read his stories, of how he is recovering, learning how to draw again with a rather distinctive collection of british birds (currently available to view at the chelsea and westminster hospital) and of course how could i forget his range of music spanning from nu-sonics, orange juice and his solo work.

I was hoping to find a way of connecting with Edwyn to ask him a few questions about his history and where he stands now as a musicians. If thats is possible or if it is possible to pointed in the way of Edwyn i would be extremely grateful and much appreciate a little tweet or a reply to this discussion. If not maybe you could help me out a little bit.

How do you view Edwyn's music as a fan?
Where do you think Edwyns career will take him next? (ie. As an artist, musician, illustrator).
What are your views on Edwyn's personality? (Reading through Grace's book I get the idea that Edwyn may have become more "chilled out", as opposed to the stubborn, difficult perfectionist throughout his career in the 70/80's).

Thanks for your time.

Thanks for sharing. Pretty interesting idea for your project. I've always enjoyed learning and writing different works. But now that I am going to write my dissertation I decided to use dissertation services to write my dissertation. It is very important for me to get the work done on time and at the highest level. After all, my future career depends on its success.

Yes, this is a good post without any doubt. You really do a great job. I am inspired by you. So keep it up!!

Art Work and Bum Fuzz

Posted by scott owen on May 5, 2017 at 17:15 0 Comments

My Bum Fuzz unit just arrived in California along with some plectrums with Edwin art. It took me along time to order this unit, but the twenty five year gestation period for it to be built surely eclipses my lack of urgency. Best regards all...

A while back I asked Edwyn if he would let me use his music on a little film I made.  Here is the result: Mill Mechanics

Thanks for that.

Shareefa Energy – ‘Reasoning With Self’ - Review

A few months ago the BBC offered a profile of new emerging female poets, ‘Women Who Spit’. Watching the short films by Jemima Foxtrot, Cecilia Knapp and Deanna Rodger, I noted with great relief that the art of poetry is alive and well. I have always been fascinated by the medium. The ability to express intricate thoughts and feelings in a few lines of words. It is the most empowering process. And empowerment through self-expression… Continue

Dear Edwyn,

Can I just thank you for your contribution to my life. From that very first shiver I got listening to Felicity on the John Peel Show to the smile I still express today when you burst into laughter half way through Consolation Prize, it's important I let you know how much your music means to me before one of us croaks it.

I was hooked instantly and bought all the singles and albums, the ten inches, 12 inches and even ripped the flexi discs off Smash Hits and Melody…
