Edwyn wins an Ivor

There are severe hangovers all round at Collins HQ today. Except Edwyn (light drinker) and Will (non drinker). Yesterday Edwyn was presented with an Ivor Novello award at the Grosvenor House in London. The Ivors are the best thing a songwriter can possibly achieve, an award from your peers. His was the Ivors Inspiration Award, which recognised the mark Edwyn has left on other musicians and songwriters. A thrilling and moving occasion. Edwyn made a fantastic speech and the room gave him a standing ovation.

It's probably all for your's The Campaign For Real Rock. Edwyn, You did it on purpose, right? :)

Anyway, it's a 200% well deserved prize and thank God it's yours now. Congratulations!!
Even if this song was the only one you'd ever written they would owe you the Ivor.
