Edwyn wins an Ivor

There are severe hangovers all round at Collins HQ today. Except Edwyn (light drinker) and Will (non drinker). Yesterday Edwyn was presented with an Ivor Novello award at the Grosvenor House in London. The Ivors are the best thing a songwriter can possibly achieve, an award from your peers. His was the Ivors Inspiration Award, which recognised the mark Edwyn has left on other musicians and songwriters. A thrilling and moving occasion. Edwyn made a fantastic speech and the room gave him a standing ovation.

AKA Bridge..... hello Edwyn,Grace & Co. Hope you like the photo of me and the main man at the Buxton gig. It was such a thrill to meet you again. What an accolade you must be so proud and rightly so. Huge congrats to you all. I guess that tab means I can view it now then! Like the new site but I notice a few covers missing from the photos section. I will post images of a few vinyls that I`m sure are still up in the loft. "my beloved girl" , "Don`t shilly shally" , "50 shades of blue" are a few that come to mind and, of course the one and only, literally, "You can`t FIND your love forever. Keep winning awards and the value will keep going up! haha...Cheerio for now

I'm working on getting all the sleeve art together. Haven't started on the Ed solo stuff yet. Any old shite you have, bung it up and I can feature it on the main page. This site has lots to come and will be tarted up, but it's good fun so far!

It was lovely to meet you and Roddy there and your speach was so moving. I met more MEN than you can imagine who told me how tearful and proud they were of you for speach. It was a pleasure to shake your finger! And as well as being an inspiration musically, it was an inspiration just to meet you.
