feb 16 gig best seating

hi everyone - just to let people know i just bought 2nd row tickets - but by going to shepherd's bush empire website & purchasing from there ('buy tickets' takes you to ticketweb to buy them), rather than seetickets or gigs&tours (gigs&tours couldn't find the event; seetickets says row E now offers 'best seats available' - just thought some of you might prefer 2nd row seats via 'the empire' (?!) instead... very happy hunting! : )

Seats?! I can't remember the last time I went to a seated gig. That takes me back to the bad old days of punk gigs at the Birmingham Odeon and everyone rushing to the front before being manhandled by bouncers. Of course, I'd make the exception to see Edwyn at the Empire (so is the downstairs seated now?) but as I live on the other side of the world now sadly I am not able to...but now I have to rush to head out to catch some prime Japanese garage punk...simply thrilling!

Typically, speakers are located on the side of the stage and are pointed toward the center of the venue.
