Hey folks! my name is Greg, and being 17 I am probably the youngest Edwyn Collins/OJ fan around! People my age generally don't have a clue how much influence their music has had on the current indie…Continue

Went to see Grace and Edwyn at Waterstones Manchester last night. What a double-act. If you can go to one of the other readings, go. It's very entertaining/inspirational/moving/funny... all that human stuff.

Grace and Edwyn are doing a signing in Edinburgh on 22/08 if you don`t make Glasgow.
thanks Duncan - I know the Deaf Institute very well. In case you dont, what you do is you get to the Manchester Metropolitan University part of the Student Rat-run known as Oxford Rd. You've got a garden square on one side and then opposite that, you cross the main road, (carefully...no kidding) and there a small road going away from the main one. There is a bar called The Sand Bar where alot of MMU grads drink, and on the other side, a decorative small building called The Deaf Institute. It's got a pretty good cafe and in the basement, there are gigs. But it is quite small, so tickets will sell out quickly. If you go to my web-site and recognise me from my photo, please come along and say hello. I will be there.
Made it to the Glasgow event tonight and had a ball. Grace & Edwyn were great company, haven't laughed so much in a long time. Many wonderful stories, truly heart-warming stuff. Having Edwyn sing was an unexpected treat - and once he started he didn't seem to want to stop! And we didn't want him to either. Can't wait to get stuck into the book. Well done everyone.
The Aberdeen event was, indeed, superb. Tickets are now bought for the Leomn Tree on the 18th but where can I find the other dates, a few days dotting around the highlands following Edwyn sounds like a great way to pass a few days in October.
Hello. This is my first post. I was at the book reading venue in Aberdeen (I was the one that asked about Stuart Adamson towards the end of the book signing queue.)

A truly inspirational human being, I look forward to seeing you in October when you take your music to the Lemon Tree. Thanks to both of you for a brilliant evening.
Yes, that was me! And I remember you, too. I'm just pleased I wasn't on the very front row during the hankie moment! When are you seeing him in Edinburgh? I have a ticket for the Friday. J

I think I was sat on the same row as you Julie - 2nd from the front. I was the speccy girl with a stripey skirt, dark hair. I was scabbling about for my hankie when Edwyn sang `Home Again`. I think you may have been doing the same! It got very dusty in there didn`t it?!

It's a must see, for sure! Grace and Edwyn work so well together and it was a joy to hear Grace read and a delight to hear Edwyn's laugh (so often!) as well as sing. And, yes, I scrabbled for my hankies! Am also going to see Edwyn in Edinburgh next month - will be brilliant!
Its a shame that this book tour is no longer going. I'd have loved to have seen Edwyn & Grace talking about the book together (and get my book signned of course.) I wonder if i should take a copy to the gig at Liverpool catherdral, on the 13th in the hope i might get a chance to ask them to sign it there? Does anyone reckon its worth trying?
best regards.
Daz
All three (Will too) very kindly signed mine last night at Brighton. I think the fact I'd come from France for the gig caused a chuckle. I'll be chuckling when I see them again in Paris later this month.
Cheers for letting me know. Ill take along my copy of the book and have a try then.
regards
Daz
Both Grace and Edwyn kindly signed my copy last night after the Preston gig. I bought the book at the merchandise table.

An absolutely fantastic book.  As usual, I haven't started my xmas shopping, but now I know what to get everyone.  Easy.
