Hi there. this is my favourite EC song. Managed to record a clip of Edwyn singing it and Carwyn finger picking it - played it to the guy who is trying to teach, he instantly recognised the tune and played it.
his version, which i am trying to play (badly) - sorry about ths idiots guide, but i think i can explian it this way -
is first finger, first fret, 2nd string from bottom (next to thinnest string), then in the third fret, same string put your little finger, then your ring finger goes on to the thick string, of third fret - your bass note ! you strum the top string, then the 2nd, then third bottom string (which is an open string), release your little finger, then repeat for the first finger, replace the first finger repeat again, replace your little finger and repeat again.
phew - hope you can work it out somehow. cheers.....

The ability to express intricate thoughts and feelings in a few lines of words. It is the most empowering process. And empowerment through self-expression… Continue
Can I just thank you for your contribution to my life. I was hooked instantly and bought all the singles and albums, the ten inches, 12 inches and even ripped the flexi discs off Smash Hits and Melody…
