Indeed a great song. On my download there is no information about the composer. Is it Edwyn himself?
This song reminds me to Edwyns cover of Witchcraft from the Longe-A-Palooza album from 1997.
Witchcraft is a song written by Cy Coleman, a great songwriter. Recently I bought "The Best Is Yet To Come – The Songs of Cy Coleman" with covers from Madeleine Peyroux, Fiona Apple, Jill Sobule and others. I'd recommend this CD if you like "Feeling Lucky". Highly.
Got to check that out, Martin, thanks. Enjoyed the Mavis gig – again didn't manage to thank Edwyn C in person for all the music over the years, though... And Malcolm Ross was in the audience, too...! I think Edwyn composed the song over a backing that they sent him, which they then changed again to suit the song - or something like that... Best! G
"Feeling Lucky" is simply amazing! Great song, lyrics, production, guitar solo, recording, everything! I've been listening to it everyday since I first heard it a couple weeks ago. You should come to America and sing if for us someday soon!

Watching the short films by Jemima Foxtrot, Cecilia Knapp and Deanna Rodger, I noted with great relief that the art of poetry is alive and well. I have always been fascinated by the medium. The ability to express intricate thoughts and feelings in a few lines of words. It is the most empowering process. And empowerment through self-expression… Continue
Can I just thank you for your contribution to my life. From that very first shiver I got listening to Felicity on the John Peel Show to the smile I still express today when you burst into laughter half way through Consolation Prize, it's important I let you know how much your music means to me before one of us croaks it.
I was hooked instantly and bought all the singles and albums, the ten inches, 12 inches and even ripped the flexi discs off Smash Hits and Melody…
Hi allGiven it's forty-odd years since OJ were out there gigging, unsurprising most of the bootleg tapes people once had have ended up in bin or lost for good. These are the recordings I have, varied…Continue
