Hey folks! my name is Greg, and being 17 I am probably the youngest Edwyn Collins/OJ fan around! People my age generally don't have a clue how much influence their music has had on the current indie…Continue

I've added it on.

Permalink Reply by Rich Cundill on July 29, 2009 at 16:07 Did you play there with Paul Haig?
I remember seeing you both at the Manchester International (2) when you both came on with red horns, I think it was the time of his Chain lp.
Completely irrelevant to the topic at hand but all this talk of Paul H and Malcolm has made me recall a Josef K gig at a venue called, I think, Jaspers in York in about '81. It was a cracker.

Permalink Reply by Edwyn Collins on August 7, 2009 at 12:02 does anyone have info on the gig that was cancelled at the then lyceum ballroom in london - would have been around 84 or 85 and OJ split up soon after that if i recall, maybe it was later ?. myself and some friends went to london to see the show, we must have been around 17. thrilled to final see them live, but alas it wasnt meant to be. we had to wait a few more years until the hope and despair tour - again i think ? maybe a dont shilly shally tour..., and i think maybe at the town and country club in camden
Ive always wondered if that was the last show that never was ?
