Hi all
Given it's forty-odd years since OJ were out there gigging, unsurprising most of the bootleg tapes people once had have ended up in bin or lost for good. These are the recordings I have, varied quality:
I hope to have some others soon - Glasgow Pavilions 1982, Glasgow Mayfair 1982, Newcastle Dingwells 1983 hopefully winging their way to me.
But what other tapes exist or existed? I certainly know of the following: Leicester Poly 1984, Northumbria Uni 1984, Portsmouth Poly 1984, Southampton 1980, Lancaster 1980, Manchester Rafters 1982, Nottingham Boat Club 1981, Retford Porterhouse 1981 (not 1982!) I don't have any tapes of the final Artisans tour so would be good to chase down one of those gigs for sure.
Are there others? If you have any, I can digitise these and share. Feels important all this great Juice is preserved for those who want to enjoy it! (and if you do want to hear, get onto the Postcard Records facebook fan group)

Also now have Essex 20.11.82; Newcastle Dingwalls 26.3.82; Glasgow Mayfair 6.4.82; Glasgow Pavilion 26.3.84 and Venue 25.2.82 (the latter being the third recording I have of a venue gig!)
It was a wonderful chance to visit this kind of site and I am happy to know all about it.
Also Lyceum 6 May 1984, Hull 6 Nov 1984 too.
No i have no china crisis but around 15 aztec gigs with a few more to come. Happy to trade always though it's OJ / edwyn that we are really after!

My Bum Fuzz unit just arrived in California along with some plectrums with Edwin art. It took me along time to order this unit, but the twenty five year gestation period for it to be built surely eclipses my lack of urgency. Best regards all...

A while back I asked Edwyn if he would let me use his music on a little film I made. Here is the result: Mill Mechanics
Thanks for that.

Dear Edwyn,
Can I just thank you for your contribution to my life. From that very first shiver I got listening to Felicity on the John Peel Show to the smile I still express today when you burst into laughter half way through Consolation Prize, it's important I let you know how much your music means to me before one of us croaks it.
I was hooked instantly and bought all the singles and albums, the ten inches, 12 inches and even ripped the flexi discs off Smash Hits and Melody…

Does anyone know anything about this mythical film that Edwyn was working on in the mid 80's with Alan Horne and Paul Quinn? Paul Blue Eyes and Ain't That Always The Way were credited as being from…Continue
