Treasure Island

Here is something a bit unusual which you may or may not find interesting. Whilst digitising some old tapes I recently came across 4 short (approx 2 mins each) extracts of Edwyn reading from Treasure Island on the Mark Radcliffe show on Radio 1 in 1995. I can't remember exactly what the reason was, I think he asked various people to do it reading from one of their favourite books, anyway I only recorded Edwyn's. 'Just why you call me an obsessive' springs to mind.

Looks like there is a limit to the number of files you can attach, i.e. 3. If there is any interest I will upload the 4th as well.

Oh Dave please do. I have no recollection of Edwyn doing this. Why is this? It has knocked the stuffing from me somewhat, but I am grateful beyond words to you for retrieving this precious fragment of Edwyn's speaking voice reading so beautifully. It's overwhelming, honestly. x

Here is the other reading I have. This time it is from a book called the Bad Old Days. I only have one extract this time, either I missed the others or there was only one. Mark Lamarr was sitting in for Mark Radcliffe.
