My Bum Fuzz unit just arrived in California along with some plectrums with Edwin art. It took me along time to order this unit, but the twenty five year gestation period for it to be built surely eclipses my lack of urgency. Best regards all...

A while back I asked Edwyn if he would let me use his music on a little film I made. Here is the result: Mill Mechanics
Thanks for that.

Dear Edwyn,
Can I just thank you for your contribution to my life. From that very first shiver I got listening to Felicity on the John Peel Show to the smile I still express today when you burst into laughter half way through Consolation Prize, it's important I let you know how much your music means to me before one of us croaks it.
I was hooked instantly and bought all the singles and albums, the ten inches, 12 inches and even ripped the flexi discs off Smash Hits and Melody…

Just seen on amazon "some British birds" book selling for over £100.00 how ridiculous! Not because the book isn't good but because people are such greedy B******s.

wanted to thank you, even though you are not aware, for the hope and inspiration you have given to Davy Patton and his wife,Ailsa. Davy had a brain bleed,in April, and is in the very early days of rehabilitation, in Glasgow...Davy is a talented guitar player and music is all he has ever known....Best Wishes, Martha O'Rourke(Glasgow)
Splendid chat and music on Gideon Coe's show tonight, very enjoyable!
Hi Edwyn,
Re: The possibilities are endless.
On my first visit to see you in hospital, less than three weeks after that dreadful Sunday when you had your stoke, you looked at me and said, without prompting, "Robert". I was with Seb, and to the best of my recollection, you exchanged some words with him too. I remember as we were leaving, I was standing and I held your right hand, looked you in the eyes and said "The possibilities" to which you replied, by way of interruption "Are endless." This resonated with me and gave me hope as it was a clear indication that your mind was active and very much there, in the moment.
Cheers,
Robert
Hi Edwyn, just been listening to your own / Orange Juice songs again and updating my collection. Takes me back! The M&S advert sound track came up in a conversation with a friend Sheila Ferguson. We were reminiscing about our days at Glasgow Parks at the top of Buchanan Street in the late 70s. She remembers you well! She was a graphic designer just out of the School of Art. You were doing wildlife illustration, if I recall. Lots very 'interesting' colleagues. I was more on the landscape side. We have followed your ups and downs since,
You and grace are a real inspiration.

Hi Edwyn
I have just finished 'Laughing and Falling' (blooming brilliant) and watched the Home Again documentary and your performance at Brudenell Road in Leeds. That sounds a bit stalkery!! Isn't your Grace a smiley lovely? My husband is fond of singing 'Girl like You' at me - it's kind of one of our special tunes. I teach yoga up north with several students recovering from stroke so I was really interested in how hard you have been working on your recovery. How can I get in touch with your yoga teacher - is it Stewart? He might be able to give me some tips to help my folk up here!
Love Kath
What a lovely site you have! Nice to join in here.. Now I will pay a visit to your corner shop to see what's in store!
Warm greetings from Holland,

Great album - such fresh tunes and "searching for the truth" is beautiful. Been a fan ever since a mate introduced me to "Falling & Laughing" in the early 80s. Loved the remix of "I Can't Help Myself", got all the solo albums, but took me until the Leeds Cockpit gig in '08 or was it '07 to finally see you and I wasn't disappointed. A truly memorable night. Looking forward to the Manchester gig. Thanks for your great music and inspiration. Rob
