Hi Susan

Hope you are well!  Sorry you were not able to make Hugh's thing last week -  I got there really late due to getting lost around unfamiliar Victoria - arrived at the do looking very hot, and flustered - not the impression I had hoped!

Anyway, the reason for my getting in touch other than to say hallo, is to ask for some stringed instrument advice!   I want to get Phil a banjo for Christmas/birthday and wondered if this is something that Andy (or yourself) are experts on?  I don't want to spend a fortune, but am looking for a 5 string open back banjo suitable for beginner although he does play guitar.   Our local music shop recommended a Delta Blues Californian - what do you think?

Lots of love to you and Andy xxxx

Hey Susan hope you and Andy are well. Will you be coming to Glasgow for the Oran Mor gig in November? Would be great to see you both and of course you are welcome to stay at mine if you like (5 mins from the venue).

Hey Sus, I'm very well, going to Boomtown and Towersey this month. Glasto was fantastic this year, so easy without mud and lager louts, but I broke my ribs so I've been fairly immobile since. How are you? Any fest action in the offing?

Hi Susan
thanks for the concern. i went to the ticket site through Edwins site and automatically presumed i was directly linked to Edwins ticket page so i excitedly ordered my tickets and it wasn't till all details were confirmed that i spotted i'd bought Pendulum tickets, so i was a bit of a daft bugger and a bit too excited.

on another more pleasant note... i'm an artist and obviously a big fan of Edwyns and have wanted to send him a gift of my work. is there an address i can send him something?
my site is www.therealmckee.co.uk if you fancy taking a look.
all the best

Hi, yes that is Ringo ... strange thing is that when I signed up, Ringo's pic automatically came up ... he is a member of Poochbook so he is probably signing up to all sorts of other things when I think he is asleep in his basket! How are you? How's it all going? jxx

Art Work and Bum Fuzz

Posted by scott owen on May 5, 2017 at 17:15 0 Comments

My Bum Fuzz unit just arrived in California along with some plectrums with Edwin art. It took me along time to order this unit, but the twenty five year gestation period for it to be built surely eclipses my lack of urgency. Best regards all...

Thank you for the music

A while back I asked Edwyn if he would let me use his music on a little film I made.  Here is the result: Mill Mechanics

Thanks for that.

Shareefa Energy – ‘Reasoning With Self’ - Review

A few months ago the BBC offered a profile of new emerging female poets, ‘Women Who Spit’. Watching the short films by Jemima Foxtrot, Cecilia Knapp and Deanna Rodger, I noted with great relief that the art of poetry is alive and well. I have always been fascinated by the medium. The ability to express intricate thoughts and feelings in a few lines of words. It is the most empowering process. And empowerment through self-expression… Continue

Dear Edwyn,

Can I just thank you for your contribution to my life. From that very first shiver I got listening to Felicity on the John Peel Show to the smile I still express today when you burst into laughter half way through Consolation Prize, it's important I let you know how much your music means to me before one of us croaks it.

I was hooked instantly and bought all the singles and albums, the ten inches, 12 inches and even ripped the flexi discs off Smash Hits and Melody…
