I visited my local library yesterday to return some books and Grace's book caught my eye as I was walking out.
I'm one of the people Grace describes in the book, someone who loved Edwyn's music but I wasn't a dedicated follower. I have often wondered why I hadn't heard any other records by Edwyn after the fantastic single 'Girl Like You' over the airwaves.
I'm halfway through the book today, much to the annoyance of my family as there is a mountain of housework…

One handed guitar
My husband Neil had a very severe stroke 1 year ago and he has been left with similar difficulties to Edwyn.I,Kathryn his wife,have nearly finished the book Grace wrote and can identify with so much she has written and I am now about to read it to Neil.We have both watched the documentary and have got a great deal of encouragement from it.Neil loved playing his many guitars with a group of amateur friends and has just been made an amazing one handed guitar by a great friend who makes…

grace i have just reaad the book and it was wonderful ,i have been a big fan of edwyns since i saw orange juice at the bristol berkley about 1981 edwyn had a terrible cold but they were great ,we spoke afterwards and i never forgot it
