Just finished the book.

You cannot complete this read without imagining the pain endured and the constant worry of "plateauing". But it's only imagining. It takes a lot to move a 46 yr old fella to near tears at the descriptive Grace uses. I often read this through glazy eyes. I think it's probably the realisation of mortality that we all begin to feel around this age.

I have seen Edwyn and the band three times in the last 3 years and each time the performance of the songs is more assured and dynamic.… Continue

Leeds last night

Great gig in Leeds Edwyn, thanks to all. Also enjoyed the 2 support bands. Thought Kinbeat were particularly good.

Thanks for last night Edwyn

The night started in good fashion with Malcolm Ross's band and then got better with Colorama. What a great band and the lead singer then turns to playing bass for Edwyn.

Edwyn and the band were excellent last night, even better than Leeds last year. The trip was made worthwhile even just for hearing Home Again. Even showing great humour when forgetting the band names for a while. Top man.

Fantastic evening Edwyn, thank you.

Really looking forward to Bloomsbury gig

Can't wait to see Edwyn again. Saw the Leeds gig last year. Very emotional and brilliant.

Art Work and Bum Fuzz

Posted by scott owen on May 5, 2017 at 17:15 0 Comments

My Bum Fuzz unit just arrived in California along with some plectrums with Edwin art. It took me along time to order this unit, but the twenty five year gestation period for it to be built surely eclipses my lack of urgency. Best regards all...

Thank you for the music

A while back I asked Edwyn if he would let me use his music on a little film I made.  Here is the result: Mill Mechanics

Thanks for that.

Shareefa Energy – ‘Reasoning With Self’ - Review

A few months ago the BBC offered a profile of new emerging female poets, ‘Women Who Spit’. Watching the short films by Jemima Foxtrot, Cecilia Knapp and Deanna Rodger, I noted with great relief that the art of poetry is alive and well. I have always been fascinated by the medium. The ability to express intricate thoughts and feelings in a few lines of words. It is the most empowering process. And empowerment through self-expression… Continue

Dear Edwyn,

Can I just thank you for your contribution to my life. From that very first shiver I got listening to Felicity on the John Peel Show to the smile I still express today when you burst into laughter half way through Consolation Prize, it's important I let you know how much your music means to me before one of us croaks it.

I was hooked instantly and bought all the singles and albums, the ten inches, 12 inches and even ripped the flexi discs off Smash Hits and Melody…
