Edwyn Collins Twitter Tunes

Posted by Jan Illes on July 31, 2015 at 16:48 0 Comments

Those of you who follow Edwyn on Twitter are probably already aware of his impeccable and very eclectic taste in music. Listening to the multi cd re-release and re-mix of 'The Velvet Underground' (1969) album, I noticed more clearly the lyric…….'Some kind of love, the possibilities are endless…'
Could this be the origin of the now legendary phrase?
I am reminded of the NME's description of their C81 cassette that Josef K , Orange Juice and Aztec Camera were the reincarnation of the 1968, 1969 and 1970 Velvet Underground.
Not getting any Velvet Underground stuff until…
