This incredible woman describes so eloquently her experience of a brain haemorrhage. Edwyn has often amazed me with his halting but very moving descriptions of how he felt in the aftermath of his stroke. It intrigues me. Dr Bolte Taylor takes you with her.

Hi, I just want to say that I've bought your book and that if one day I need to teach my son (William, he's 4) what love is I'll ask him to read "Falling And Laughing". Really moving. Take care!

Grace
I have watched this presentation twice now and without knowing what Edwyn has gone through, I find this lady talking for 18 minutes absolutely fascinating and inspirational. We all take our brains for granted, very few of us have an inkling of how our brain works or what is happening within it.
How it controls us without us thinking to do things like sleeping, breathing etc.
When something goes wrong with it, how would we know what to do.
Dr Taylor to be able to articulate what happened to her in such an eloquent light-hearted way helps us all to understand a little more about how our brains work and operate.
Thanks for posting.
