We run a Disability focused festival company called Disability Rocks. We hosted 3 fests this year across the uk and have 6 scheduled in 2015. They are all one day events with audience of around 1500-2000 and with slots no more than 1 hour. Would Edwyn be interested in the tour? My contact is 07540 233412

Hi Grace and Edwyn. This message comes from Christie hospital where I am resident with my 21yr old son.  He's been diagnosed with leukaemia and was only hours from death last Saturday. Thankfully he now appears to be responding but  he has suffered 3 bleeds in his brain resulting in total deafness and disturbance to his balance and coordination. I remember a conversation you and I had about feeling responsible for not protecting your loved ones and feel exactly that myself. If this had been picked up earlier the haemorrhages could have been prevented and he would not be so impaired; I have failed him. My reason for this message is really to say that we are using you and Edwyn as inspiration. If he can achieve so much after significant brain injury then a young very fit man can do so too.  I can't fail him again. Tracey x

I remember sharing a house with you, harry, Jill and myself -colin fraser and it all fell tro bits thro our stupidity, not yours. A long time later, things for me got better and now that im a clean living, productive member of scociety I often wonder how things went for Harry, Jill and some others. Caught bits of you and Edwyns struggles. Life is a bitch sometimes. Be happy if you can. I still have a cut-out for Graeme Kelling somewhere. All the best to you both

Hello Grace,

Thanks a lot for your kind words on my recent uploads of scanned press articles. There is more to come, just a case of finding the time. But given all the enjoyment that Edwyn's music has given me over the years it feels good being able to give back something in return. And a big thanks for your inspiring book. And that enjoyment continues with 'Losing Sleep', even if I have to continually get back my CD from my 14 year old son !

And if you ever fancy a break in deepest rural SW France there is always a place to stay at ours for you and the family...

Hi Grace,

Apologies for reaching out to you through this wall post but I have no idea who Edwyn's booking agent for Asia is.  I run Greenhorn Productions, a concert promotion company based in Singapore.  Artistes we have recently presented include Lloyd Cole, Janis Ian, Death Cab for Cutie, Vampire Weekend, Owen Pallett.  We note Edwyn is in Japan in March 2011?  Please email me at if there is any interest in a proposal for Singapore.  Thanks.

Hi Grace - funny, I thought I had joined it a long long time ago, some
terrific stuff on there... Been monitoring your movements closely - from R4
to Oran Mor (Steven said Ron & Cath were there - gaun' yirsel', Will!), thought Domino did a pretty good job on the box set and SG's notes prob stayed on the right side of whimsical - jeez you two showbiz superstars are working harder than you ever were. I see you're in Barca, Madrid and then Munchen und so weiter..... The ATP finale looks legendary, altho im flying to Mexico with the boys that day (so my arms 'll be tired...). I'm back in my old house off
Ladbroke Grove (very sad news about Ari Up, ja...?) and have the boys
literally half the time so am much happier - I've basically turned into a housewife, G, slowly building my life back up again. Would love a catch-up. Just call or email me whenever's clever 4u, you can come round for dinner if you fancy - anyway, take care & love to your boys - (sucker) MC xxx

Hi Grace,
I hope you remember me, I met you at the Bucks New Uni graduation ceremony in early September with Richard Chamberlain. I'd just like to say how wonderful it was to meet you, and how often my mother (who spoke to you about her recent haemorrhage) talks about it; you both were a huge inspiration to her.
I hope you enjoyed your day and got home safely :)
Lots of love,
Sadie Lobb

And another. Whole family loving the album, we can't wait to see Edwyn at Leeds Brudenell Social club, 5 mins walk from home. Joy! Last time we saw him was in a Cowshed at Lounge at the Farm in deepest darkest Kent last summer.

Art Work and Bum Fuzz

Posted by scott owen on May 5, 2017 at 17:15 0 Comments

My Bum Fuzz unit just arrived in California along with some plectrums with Edwin art. It took me along time to order this unit, but the twenty five year gestation period for it to be built surely eclipses my lack of urgency. Best regards all...

Thank you for the music

A while back I asked Edwyn if he would let me use his music on a little film I made.  Here is the result: Mill Mechanics

Thanks for that.

Shareefa Energy – ‘Reasoning With Self’ - Review

A few months ago the BBC offered a profile of new emerging female poets, ‘Women Who Spit’. Watching the short films by Jemima Foxtrot, Cecilia Knapp and Deanna Rodger, I noted with great relief that the art of poetry is alive and well. I have always been fascinated by the medium. The ability to express intricate thoughts and feelings in a few lines of words. It is the most empowering process. And empowerment through self-expression… Continue

Dear Edwyn,

Can I just thank you for your contribution to my life. From that very first shiver I got listening to Felicity on the John Peel Show to the smile I still express today when you burst into laughter half way through Consolation Prize, it's important I let you know how much your music means to me before one of us croaks it.

I was hooked instantly and bought all the singles and albums, the ten inches, 12 inches and even ripped the flexi discs off Smash Hits and Melody…
