Hello Grace, I know I'm probably pushing my luck but you don't get anywhere if you don't ask! Do you know if any more tickets are going to be made available for the 100 club? I'm looking for 5. Just say what we need to do. A few errands, slave for a week, whatever, just ask! I go back to I think 82 seeing OJ. Edwyn owes me anyway as he made me cry like a baby at Glastonbury 2 years ago. Best gig ever! Best Regards, Keith

hi grace
how are you? been so many years. i was hoping by signing up i'd get through to you as i hope you can help me. i'm tryng to get in touch with alan horne - i thought domino might have a contact for him, but apparently not. jodie thought it would be worth giving you a try and is ee there are plenty of mentions of alan on the site. basically, we ran a cover story recently on great lost albums and it got the readesr very excited and we are running their lists of favourite albums you can't get in our enxt issue. i'm looking into the idea of putting together a covermount cd compiled from a combination of 15 tracks from the editorial/readers lists and i'd like to feature something from paul quinn's phantoms and archetypes and wanted to speak to alan about who currently held the rights for the album. if you've got any contact details for alan you could give me it would be much appreciated. meanwhile i hope all is well with you. much love to you and edwyn both.

Hi Grace thanks so much for you reply. Yes I can be a grumpy git at times....things can be hard to accept I guess and seeing people walk around each day and take it for granted how easy it is when I'm with someone who finds it hard to get about can cause me the odd feeling of ' it just aint fair' but someone is always worse off and reading your book I found amazing the way you just kept looking forward more and more. How is Edwyn doing since the book?

Best Johnx

Hi Grace,

Thank you so much for your message. It was lovely to hear from you and that you approve of the poster.

Johns project is indeed brilliant and I was very chuffed that he asked me to be a small part it. John sent me Falling and Laughing as a thankyou for doing the poster, It was amazing, life affirming, beautiful and incredibly emotional. You guys rock!

hi Grace. i have just read your amazing book. what a moving read in terms of getting across the dreadful dreadful time edwyn went through and you and your family. your honesty and wit made it a heart rendering and uplifting account of what happened and how through sheer fight edwyn has been able to rebuild aided by you and some great professionals (and despite others!). i was a big oj fan, with STH being my fave...am now discovering later solo stuff esp Home Again! Hope to get to BB tomorrow. love and al the best to you both. rob

Hi

I just wanted to say hello. I watched the documentary on your life with Edwyn and it was so heartwarming. It's so obvious to see how much love is in your family and how close you both are.

Since then I have ordered your book and I can't wait for it to arrive. I have always been blown away by Edwyn's talent and I am so pleased that he has the strength to return to music, something I know that means so much to many people.

I hope that you have a sunshiney day and that maybe I'll get to see Edwyn play live soon. Until then, love to you and yours...

Art Work and Bum Fuzz

Posted by scott owen on May 5, 2017 at 17:15 0 Comments

My Bum Fuzz unit just arrived in California along with some plectrums with Edwin art. It took me along time to order this unit, but the twenty five year gestation period for it to be built surely eclipses my lack of urgency. Best regards all...

Thank you for the music

A while back I asked Edwyn if he would let me use his music on a little film I made.  Here is the result: Mill Mechanics

Thanks for that.

Shareefa Energy – ‘Reasoning With Self’ - Review

A few months ago the BBC offered a profile of new emerging female poets, ‘Women Who Spit’. Watching the short films by Jemima Foxtrot, Cecilia Knapp and Deanna Rodger, I noted with great relief that the art of poetry is alive and well. I have always been fascinated by the medium. The ability to express intricate thoughts and feelings in a few lines of words. It is the most empowering process. And empowerment through self-expression… Continue

Dear Edwyn,

Can I just thank you for your contribution to my life. From that very first shiver I got listening to Felicity on the John Peel Show to the smile I still express today when you burst into laughter half way through Consolation Prize, it's important I let you know how much your music means to me before one of us croaks it.

I was hooked instantly and bought all the singles and albums, the ten inches, 12 inches and even ripped the flexi discs off Smash Hits and Melody…
