Despite being a fan since Blue Boy's original release this was my first time seeing Edwyn - and god what a joy - the band were on fire I danced myself down to the knees during falling and laughing and was humbled during low expectations and everything inbetween. can't wait to take my wife to the queen elizabeth hall gig
Can anyone help us solve the mystery of the Manics song list? Click here to view what we found on the stage last night: http://www.therockclubuk.com/rc/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=505
Aha! I can solve this mystery for you. Sean Read, our friend and genius all round muso, also plays keys for the Manics......he's been festivalling with them all summer.
Brilliant, thanks Grace. Does he need it back to know which songs to play?!
Wow, love the Manics story and connection. Thanks.

James Dean Bradfield was at the Bloomsbury Ballrooms gig too.
Yeah totally agree trecked down from the West Country on motorbike for the gig especially, and was not disappointed. Edwyn showing his old jovial talent inbetween brilliant renditions from old, especially SHILLY SHALLY!!!
Was there with another West Country fan, small world. Was really tremendous, memorable stuff.
We trecked from Devizes in Wilts where was t'other west country from?
Her formative, Orange Juice-filled years were spent in Templecombe, Somerset, but been in London well over 20 years now.

Did you bike back last night? Long way, but well worth it
