Kris Gillespie, who's in charge of the box set release, has heard tell of a flexi which came with the 7" of Lean Period. I can remember no such thing, (think it might be a baseless rumour) and Edwyn's memory is unsure too. (Uncharacteristically). We know about the one with Bridge, BTW. Can you folks confirm that no such item existed?

Hi Grace, According to the discography on this site http://www.btinternet.com/~birdpoo/orange.htm
Lean Period - October 1984
Lean Period / Bury My Head In My Hands
7" Polydor OJ 7
Some issued with 7" flexidisc of 'Rip It Up' / 'What Presence?!'.

Hope this helps, is the box set still planned for a release this year?
Really looking forward to getting my hands on it.
Lean Period/Bury My Head In
My Hands -7’ (Polydor 0J7) -12’
(extra track Lean Period extended
version) (Polydor 0JX7) Lean
Period 7’ came in 5,000 edition
Brown paper bag sleeve and flexi
of Rip It Up/What Presence?!
(JUICE3) - it’s pretty common to
see, much rarer in normal sleeve!
October 1984. Reached number 74
in charts.
(Ref: Dr Phil Hubbard)

I got a feeling these tracks are lifted from the Dada with Juice VHS.
Well there you go, my memory is rubbish. Kris will be delighted, told him you lot would sort it.
Thanks people.
Grace
Yup - the flexi had those two tracks listed as from the soundtrack of Dada With Juice

They are the same versions as on the video but they have an amount of Edwyn pre/post song banter that is edited out on the video itself..

Art Work and Bum Fuzz

Posted by scott owen on May 5, 2017 at 17:15 0 Comments

My Bum Fuzz unit just arrived in California along with some plectrums with Edwin art. It took me along time to order this unit, but the twenty five year gestation period for it to be built surely eclipses my lack of urgency. Best regards all...

Thank you for the music

A while back I asked Edwyn if he would let me use his music on a little film I made.  Here is the result: Mill Mechanics

Thanks for that.
