Hi everyone,

I wondered if anyone had any Edwyn or OJ goodies on dvd.

I have a few things and I'm happy to share or trade copies
of them, if anyone is interested please get in touch.

I've contacted Grace and she is quite happy for me to offer them here.....

OJ - Dada with Juice
Edwyn - Phantasmagoria ( the infamous stage trashing!!) - Reading 1991
Edwyn - Jools Holland Later - Girl Like You and Gorgeous George performed 1995 I think
Edwyn and OJ - Casual Introduction bonus DVD ( 4 promo vids )
Edwyn - Home Again documentary - 40 minute version with comeback gig clips...
Edwyn, Justin Currie and Graham Lyle - Songwriters Circle

The last one is a great show, recorded in Glasgow in 1999.
Each of the performers sing 4 songs, backed by the others.

Hopefully some of you might have some other things to add
to the list?

HI Matt
Is it not now time for all what you have to be put on youtube and the links copied into this site.

Simon
Hi Simon,

I thought that maybe some people would prefer to have them on dvd.

To be honest I wouldn't know where to start splitting the tracks up etc
to upload them to YouTube.

Matt

Thanks Paul, I've have a look at that.

Matt
You can download similar programs for free. Youtube Downloader does the job.
You can use it to download videos of any websites not just Youtube.
Thanks Simon.
how would i go about getting a dvd of this stuff sent to me?! (Have dada on the box set but really wanna see Phantasmagoria again!) b x
Hi Brian,
I'll do you a copy in the next week or two, I'll get your details and get it in the post for you.

Matt
Would love to see Phantasmagoria again... my old VHS copy has long worn out. I was there, lapping up the mayhem - and it was a cracking performance before the trouble broke out. I wasn't familiar with Edwyn's music at the time but it was one hell of an introduction.

Someone should send Axl Rose a copy: this, matey, is how you break curfew at Reading...
@MIles and @Brian, If you pm me your addresses I'll copy Phantas.. for you both.
I'm happy to cover the costs as long as you are in the UK.

Matt
The stuff on youtube is often poor quality anyway. People shrink the files to make them quicker to upload/download. I agree its a shame there are no good quality copies for sale anyware.

Whats that about Phantasmogoria? Also i never even knew Edwyn appeared on joolz Holland Later, way back in 1995. That'd be cool to see. The songwriters circle thing again i missed it. I saw the guy from Squeeze on it with some other guys i never heard of, then the next week it was all 3 guys id not heard of so i never bothered again. Edwyn was probably on the next week knowing my luck :)
bye

'Later' is a good performance, Edwyn trashes his guitar!!

Art Work and Bum Fuzz

Posted by scott owen on May 5, 2017 at 17:15 0 Comments

My Bum Fuzz unit just arrived in California along with some plectrums with Edwin art. It took me along time to order this unit, but the twenty five year gestation period for it to be built surely eclipses my lack of urgency. Best regards all...

Thank you for the music

A while back I asked Edwyn if he would let me use his music on a little film I made.  Here is the result: Mill Mechanics

Thanks for that.

Shareefa Energy – ‘Reasoning With Self’ - Review

A few months ago the BBC offered a profile of new emerging female poets, ‘Women Who Spit’. Watching the short films by Jemima Foxtrot, Cecilia Knapp and Deanna Rodger, I noted with great relief that the art of poetry is alive and well. I have always been fascinated by the medium. The ability to express intricate thoughts and feelings in a few lines of words. It is the most empowering process. And empowerment through self-expression… Continue

Dear Edwyn,

Can I just thank you for your contribution to my life. From that very first shiver I got listening to Felicity on the John Peel Show to the smile I still express today when you burst into laughter half way through Consolation Prize, it's important I let you know how much your music means to me before one of us croaks it.

I was hooked instantly and bought all the singles and albums, the ten inches, 12 inches and even ripped the flexi discs off Smash Hits and Melody…
