Office girl here....
Franck asked Edwyn to write a melody and lyrics to a complex backing track he had. He's a complicated guy...the whole of this album is very intricate. Edwyn recorded his vocal, including harmonising with himself, in one day. I have always loved it, lost my only copy, but Franck sent us another recently, and Susan (other office girl) fell for it. Hence it's appearance here.
Another lost Edwyn classic is "Don't you ever listen to me?" (written especially for ... ?) which was released on an Australian CD called "Four hours sleep". It's a gem in the mode of "Keep on burning".
I've never heard of it being played live but it's up there with everything on the current set list.

I was hooked instantly and bought all the singles and albums, the ten inches, 12 inches and even ripped the flexi discs off Smash Hits and Melody…
