RFH gig, verdict - superlative

Thoroughly enjoyable show, packed to RFH rafters with old and new gems, corking atmosphere. 

Wish we could have danced, but everyone on their feet at the end, and lots of great 'Glaswegian' whistling of approval.

Thirty years of musical pleasure made a damp Thursday evening feel warm and toasty.

The band, as ever, gave their all, and Edwyn's stage (What) presence phenomenal. Roll on the next one.

Seen Edwyn about 15 times in concert , first time in Brighton probably 1989, and he just keeps
geting better. Apart from the frustration of having to sit down most of the time the concert was
fantastic.

Thought the song selection was spot on, great mix of stuff through the years, and the whole band had
a blinder including the guests. Special highlights were a rocking " Don't shilly shally " and an awesome
strung out version of " Blue Boy ".

I'm now going to see if I can get to one of the other venues from deepest Surrey.

Yes, it was a fantastic night and what a great atmosphere - everyone up on their feet for the final twenty minutes or so. Band were fabulous as ever - loved Alex and Ryan's guest appearances too - thanks Edwyn x

Loved it so much I've decided a trip home to Yorkshire for a long weekend at the beginning of November might be a good idea ... tickets for Brudenell Social Club in Leeds booked for me and my sis!

brilliant gig, Edwyn's voice so strong, Paul's drumming so tight.
But we were right up the back and getting fed up that everyone was sitting down so got up for a wee dance and then stormed down the front to try to get everyone up dancing. We got told off by the bouncers but everyone on their feet in the end for Blue Boy......................fantastic

But why have rock gigs in a sit down only venue?

I know I know, it's such a lovely place and everyone was so warm.....Edwyn was wrung out with emotion and the band reckon it was one the best EVER. Thanks to such a brilliant London audience giving it your all in spite of the seated thing. But you get such a nice sound in there and everyone can at least SEE him and the band, which I normally can't being a bit of a short-ass.
