Hi, just wondering what the stage times are likely to be for the London gig on Saturday. Is Edwyn still coming on quite early at the moment?

Hi Kate - I had an earlier message from Grace, who very kindly informed me that Edwyn is on at c. 9.30pm.

Have fun
Don't miss Colorama in support, very impressed by them at Deaf Institute, and treat yourself to T-shirt.
Thanks! Just don't want to be too early as I'll be on my own, standing around like a lemon and drinking my pint too quickly...
just order another pint , an another an another ... i did . second that comment on colorama .. you are in for a treat .... enjoy
Don't worry you won't be the only one on your lonesome. With a young family and wife who would rather watch X factor !! ( shocking I know ) I'll be singing along merrily on my own.

New venue for me so really looking forward to it.
Me too Kate. Would it be too awful to sidle up and say hello if I spot you? Is it weird to bring a book? Never been to a gig on my own before...
The lot of you get there for 7.45 - I'll try to amuse you.
Now there's an offer I can't resist. 3 lovely bands and Malcom Ross to entertain us in the breaks? It's not even Christmas.
Sounds like there'll be a few of us loners... well, we can't help it if we have better music taste than all our friends, eh?! I've been to a few alone before - I take a book if it's a seated gig, but never quite sure what to do with myself when it's standing. Yes do feel free to say hello!

Got Jarvis Cocker on my own next week as well - sigh!
He's a married man ya know...
Oh that was supposed to be an "on my own again" sigh, not a dreamy sigh! :)
Behave you two, I've also got Trash Can Sinatras same venue 2 weeks later. Never seen them before in concert unlike Edwyn.

Art Work and Bum Fuzz

Posted by scott owen on May 5, 2017 at 17:15 0 Comments

My Bum Fuzz unit just arrived in California along with some plectrums with Edwin art. It took me along time to order this unit, but the twenty five year gestation period for it to be built surely eclipses my lack of urgency. Best regards all...

Thank you for the music

A while back I asked Edwyn if he would let me use his music on a little film I made.  Here is the result: Mill Mechanics

Thanks for that.

Shareefa Energy – ‘Reasoning With Self’ - Review

A few months ago the BBC offered a profile of new emerging female poets, ‘Women Who Spit’. Watching the short films by Jemima Foxtrot, Cecilia Knapp and Deanna Rodger, I noted with great relief that the art of poetry is alive and well. I have always been fascinated by the medium. The ability to express intricate thoughts and feelings in a few lines of words. It is the most empowering process. And empowerment through self-expression… Continue

Dear Edwyn,

Can I just thank you for your contribution to my life. From that very first shiver I got listening to Felicity on the John Peel Show to the smile I still express today when you burst into laughter half way through Consolation Prize, it's important I let you know how much your music means to me before one of us croaks it.

I was hooked instantly and bought all the singles and albums, the ten inches, 12 inches and even ripped the flexi discs off Smash Hits and Melody…
