A letter to Edwyn and Grace

Dear Grace, dear Edwyn,

we met in Paris a few days ago when you gave us this wonderful gig.

I am Jerome.

I found you a table to sit with your good friends at a café pub nearby after the show.

My loved Delphine and I shared a few precious minutes with you as you told us the story of the drawing book.

Edwyn insisted on the "crude crude crude" motto for his early pieces.

I can't draw a straight line :-),

I have no shame to say I enjoy the crude… Continue

Leeds November 2010

It was a great night and a pleasure to hear Edwyn again in great voice. What really pleases me is my 8 year old son keeps asking me to play the CD. He said to me ;I can't wait to meet Grace and Edwyn at the Games again next year'

It made me really happy, thanks Grace and Edwyn you have made Magnus a very happy boy.

Cheers and have a relaxing time in H'dale

Preston gig

Difficult to know where to start. I never thought I would hear Blue Boy played before my ears.Somewhere in the middle of Rip It Up I had a physical shudder of joy. I never considered the notion of actually seeing Paul Cook knock hell out of a drum kit. And in the all the time I've seen and heard the band 'Morrissey' I've held fast to my belief that the Boz is the quiffiest.

Edwyn - it was a thrill

Manchester Deaf Institute

Just wanted to say thanks for an amazing gig last night in Manchester.

I was trying to think of some stand out moments, but the whole night was just outstanding.

Best set I've heard, the band were so tight, and there was a great buzz amongst the crowd.

Edwyns voice was so strong, Carwyn was great on What is my role, and I actually think it sounded better live than on the album. Boz, Andy & Cooky amazing - as was Tom "Evans" LOL!

Thank you aswell to the lovely…

Oran Mor 7th Nov.

Just back from the Oran Mor gig. The best gig of 2010. Great show and a great crowd. There were a bunch of be-fringed teenagers dancing in front of me who knew all the words to "Blue Boy", which helped balance out all us old people there. Edwyn on TOP form and I don't think I've ever felt such warmth and love pour from an audience like that before. Still smiling now. Thank you for coming home again, Edwyn!

I live in Liege, Belgium but i'll attend next Saturday gig in Liverpool cathedral. Really looking forward to it...Feel like it'll be great, since I'm up from a double brain surgery 2 years ago. And I've won. And not only so. my 3 friends and I: Everton versus Arsenal at Goodisson Park the following day. Ilong for the meetings...

Art Work and Bum Fuzz

Posted by scott owen on May 5, 2017 at 17:15 0 Comments

My Bum Fuzz unit just arrived in California along with some plectrums with Edwin art. It took me along time to order this unit, but the twenty five year gestation period for it to be built surely eclipses my lack of urgency. Best regards all...

Thank you for the music

A while back I asked Edwyn if he would let me use his music on a little film I made.  Here is the result: Mill Mechanics

Thanks for that.

Shareefa Energy – ‘Reasoning With Self’ - Review

A few months ago the BBC offered a profile of new emerging female poets, ‘Women Who Spit’. Watching the short films by Jemima Foxtrot, Cecilia Knapp and Deanna Rodger, I noted with great relief that the art of poetry is alive and well. I have always been fascinated by the medium. The ability to express intricate thoughts and feelings in a few lines of words. It is the most empowering process. And empowerment through self-expression… Continue
