Title: Edwyn and Grace do litrachur at Latitude dontcha know...
http://www.uncut.co.uk/blog/index.php?blog=11&p=1256&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1

This was rather fun. A first for us both. Grace was quite scared, but we pulled it off. A lovely crowd in the literature tent, just before the thunder storm began. We got a tremendous soaking trying to get back to the car. I'm not keen on camping, you see! We stayed in Lavenham, an hour away, in a charming B&B, as we are delicate oldies.

We had major car problems and didn't get to the site until half ten at night, which meant I missed this...was probably the thing I was looking forward to most all weekend. My Mum also suffered two SAHs which was followed by MRSA, aphasia and mobility problems - it would have been so interesting to hear about yours and Grace's experiences. I've ordered the book now, and am really looking forward to reading it.

Best wishes to you both, I've nothing but admiration for your family x

Completely soaked? We couldn't have got wetter if we'd jumped in the river! I was desperately trying to find the car in the pitch black, stumbling around the field/car park...couldn't find the way back to where I had left Ed and Will (who was screaming at me down the phone!!) got a bit of hassle from the high viz brigade who didn't want to let me go the quick way, drove back to Lavenham through LAKES, hilarious, the whole thing. But we did get there in the end, lovely hot bath, hot chocolate, soft bed, so a happy ending! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. xx

The talk was really good. Grace is way better at talking than she thinks, very natural and funny and also moving. hope you guys didn't get completely soaked when getting off the site though. Blimey the skies opened didn't they? x

I also hate camping but it's the only affordable way to get to see you both at Port Eliot. Very excited.

It was fun to be there. To hear Grace read from the book on her first reading was a great example of 'Grace under pressure!'. It was even more amazing that you were hearing her side of some of the stories for the first time.
But best of all I've got my signed copy as a treasured item! Keep on Choogin!

Art Work and Bum Fuzz

Posted by scott owen on May 5, 2017 at 17:15 0 Comments

My Bum Fuzz unit just arrived in California along with some plectrums with Edwin art. It took me along time to order this unit, but the twenty five year gestation period for it to be built surely eclipses my lack of urgency. Best regards all...

Thank you for the music

A while back I asked Edwyn if he would let me use his music on a little film I made.  Here is the result: Mill Mechanics

Thanks for that.

Shareefa Energy – ‘Reasoning With Self’ - Review

A few months ago the BBC offered a profile of new emerging female poets, ‘Women Who Spit’. Watching the short films by Jemima Foxtrot, Cecilia Knapp and Deanna Rodger, I noted with great relief that the art of poetry is alive and well. I have always been fascinated by the medium. The ability to express intricate thoughts and feelings in a few lines of words. It is the most empowering process. And empowerment through self-expression… Continue

Dear Edwyn,

Can I just thank you for your contribution to my life. From that very first shiver I got listening to Felicity on the John Peel Show to the smile I still express today when you burst into laughter half way through Consolation Prize, it's important I let you know how much your music means to me before one of us croaks it.

I was hooked instantly and bought all the singles and albums, the ten inches, 12 inches and even ripped the flexi discs off Smash Hits and Melody…
