So, I have a new site. I'm excited. I can do this for myself. I enjoy communicating, in fact, I need it. So I will keep working on it.
Here are some of the things going on in my life. I'm songwriting again and back in my studio for good. I have eight new songs. I've recorded four already. Seb and I are producing records once more. My new record but also others. Little Barrie are coming back to West Heath Studios. Barrie, Lewis and Virgil are good friends, so I'm looking forward to it. Barrie has been playing on my new songs. What a guitarist. Other production things too. I'll keep you posted.
Next, I'm getting ready to play again. Festivals in the summer time. In October, I'll tour the UK. I'm doing a short tour of the Highlands and Islands in Scotland. I've always wanted to do that.
My exhibition in Glasgow is wonderful. I'll have another in London in November. I still draw every day. It's coming on.
Grace has finished her book, 'Falling and Laughing.' It's an interesting work. In fact, it's a great work. She's interpreting the story of my life. I'm smug, me. Getting too much attention, I think. Cheerio for now, Love Edwyn.

I've got my copy of Falling and Laughing but have been banned from reading it til I go on holiday in two weeks time! Will have to content myself with looking at the pictures until then.

Congratulations on your Ivor Novello award earlier today, it's really well deserved. Your songs have always been a great inspiration to me.

Glad to hear you're busy, and still drawing everyday; I'm doing a painting at the moment ' Marilyn Monroe vs the F.B.I ' but I'm stuck.

Art Work and Bum Fuzz

Posted by scott owen on May 5, 2017 at 17:15 0 Comments

My Bum Fuzz unit just arrived in California along with some plectrums with Edwin art. It took me along time to order this unit, but the twenty five year gestation period for it to be built surely eclipses my lack of urgency. Best regards all...

Thank you for the music

A while back I asked Edwyn if he would let me use his music on a little film I made.  Here is the result: Mill Mechanics

Thanks for that.

Shareefa Energy – ‘Reasoning With Self’ - Review

A few months ago the BBC offered a profile of new emerging female poets, ‘Women Who Spit’. Watching the short films by Jemima Foxtrot, Cecilia Knapp and Deanna Rodger, I noted with great relief that the art of poetry is alive and well. I have always been fascinated by the medium. The ability to express intricate thoughts and feelings in a few lines of words. It is the most empowering process. And empowerment through self-expression… Continue

Dear Edwyn,

Can I just thank you for your contribution to my life. From that very first shiver I got listening to Felicity on the John Peel Show to the smile I still express today when you burst into laughter half way through Consolation Prize, it's important I let you know how much your music means to me before one of us croaks it.

I was hooked instantly and bought all the singles and albums, the ten inches, 12 inches and even ripped the flexi discs off Smash Hits and Melody…
