Awesome! I dont remember this video, but I've always loved the track. I think Will's hat is marginally better than Edwyn's!

I think it might have been when I saw this on a pub TV in Southampton that I decided that having children might be a good idea after all... Ginger or not.

I agree Matt. A few people were confused when we set this site up but it's proven in a few months to a repository for forgotten gems. Edwyn's loving it.

not sure why that is Simon...I can hear it. It does take a minute or two to buffer?? No, I shouldn't try to get technical....

What a fantastic family record to have. I hope Will can appreciate it. This website is turning into an EC goldmine with all the videos, photo's, news cuttings etc. Thanks Kieron.

Again, not seen it for years and years. I don't believe Will has ever seen himself as the space baby. How he will howl. He was 6 months old and we shot this for hee haw in Cornwall, with Fellini and Coppola as Edwyn was calling them, AKA Alan Horne and Kathy Frame (Roddy's erstwhile wife). They were fighting with one another like mad, big shouting matches, huge power struggles, sooo funny. We have outtakes of Will eating sand. He couldn't really sit up so I would prop him up, run out of shot, and then you had about three seconds before he would keel over. We stayed at a farmhouse which the farmers let out in the summer (it was summer, freezing!!) while they lived in a caravan. Edwyn accidently turned off their chest freezer crammed FULL of huge hunks of meat. Alan and Paul were screaming at us just to switch it on again. It was warm in there. As if destroying their winter's supply of meat wasn't enough, he wanted to bump them off with salmonella. Alan was at his absolute tightest at this period. Total meanie. Kathy and I went off to confess with cries of "Don't offer to pay for it" ringing in our ears from Alan and Paul. Tut tut. The lady was very sweet about it, although she was clearly still in shock as she waved us off...
When we moved house in 1996 I hunted high and low for Will's space suit. It was like a christening robe for me, made by our costume designer friend,Gita. Couldn't find it, I was bereft.

Art Work and Bum Fuzz

Posted by scott owen on May 5, 2017 at 17:15 0 Comments

My Bum Fuzz unit just arrived in California along with some plectrums with Edwin art. It took me along time to order this unit, but the twenty five year gestation period for it to be built surely eclipses my lack of urgency. Best regards all...

Thank you for the music

A while back I asked Edwyn if he would let me use his music on a little film I made.  Here is the result: Mill Mechanics

Thanks for that.

Shareefa Energy – ‘Reasoning With Self’ - Review

A few months ago the BBC offered a profile of new emerging female poets, ‘Women Who Spit’. Watching the short films by Jemima Foxtrot, Cecilia Knapp and Deanna Rodger, I noted with great relief that the art of poetry is alive and well. I have always been fascinated by the medium. The ability to express intricate thoughts and feelings in a few lines of words. It is the most empowering process. And empowerment through self-expression… Continue

Dear Edwyn,

Can I just thank you for your contribution to my life. From that very first shiver I got listening to Felicity on the John Peel Show to the smile I still express today when you burst into laughter half way through Consolation Prize, it's important I let you know how much your music means to me before one of us croaks it.

I was hooked instantly and bought all the singles and albums, the ten inches, 12 inches and even ripped the flexi discs off Smash Hits and Melody…
