LOSING SLEEP - ALL THE SKINNY.....

New album, LOSING SLEEP coming in the autumn.......
Well, who would have thought it? Edwyn's seventh solo album and the first since his forced sabbatical and happy return to studio duties will be released by our friends at Heavenly Recordings on September 20. Recorded at West Heath Studios, side by side with his recording partner and boon companion these last seventeen years, Sebastian Lewsley, (who became a DAD on 22 June!), LOSING SLEEP is twelve tracks long and features the widest array of musical talent he's ever been blessed with. Stepping up to the plate to co-write with Edwyn are:
Ryan Jarman
Johnny Marr
Roddy Frame
Alex Kapranos
Nick McCarthy
Romeo Stodart
The Drums

Across all the tracks in a variety of ways are his old friends Paul Cook, Dave Ruffy, Carwyn Ellis, Sean Read, Barrie Cadogan, Andy Hackett, Luca Santucci and a cameo from Will Collins. The title track will come as a single in August and Edwyn will launch the album with guest appearances at QUEEN ELIZABETH HALL on THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 23. Tickets from the box office here: http://www.southbankcentre.co.uk/find/music/gigs-contemporary/tickets/edwyn-collins-54042
